- Keep your hands well moisturized.
- Apply a good moisturizer or a hand lotion before going to bed.
- Apply sun screen lotion before venturing out in sun as sun damages skin.
- Do not let the skin on hands dry. This will cause wrinkles.
- For Natural Bleach and Softening of Skin:- Blend banana and add 1-2 tsp of honey to it and apply on hands. After it dries, wash it off.
- For Chapped Hands:- Apply Olive oil. This is effective home remedy for chapped hands.
- Rose Water Hand Massage:- Mix together 1 tsp glycerin, 1 tsp lemon juice, 5-6 drops of rose water. Massage your hands for 20-25 mins. This will heal the cracked skin and make your skin soft and glowing.
- Nail Soak:- Mix 1 cup boiled water, 1 tbsp aloe vera gel, juice of 1 lemon, , 10- 12 drops of lemon essential oil together. Use as a finger soak for about 10-15 minutes on each hand.
- Nail Manicure Treatment:- Mix 1 tbsp distilled water, 1.5 tsp honey, slightly warmed 1 tbsp with hazel, half tsp alum powder (phitkari). Soak nails for 10- 15 minutes, massaging cuticles gently. Rinse off with cool water.
- For Dry Hands and for Avoiding Fungal Infections:- After washing hands, and let them dry, apply diluted vinegar in a little water and put on gloves.
- Avoid Acetone Nail Polish Removers:- Acetone polish removers dry out nails, so don’t use them.
