I know! It’s 6 days since the launch and I am JUST posting about it buttt… better late than never! The wait is finally over! H&M, everyone’s favorite “get a little bit of everything at an affordable price point” store has finally launched its online shopping for the United States… and the crowd goes wild!
The site, which went live August 1, offers merchandise for women, men, plus-sizes and exclusive online products and deals. Online shoppers will also have a first look at the Paris Show collection August 22 before it hits stores September 5.
E-commerce has been available in Sweden, Austria, Norway, Denmark, Finland, Germany,the Netherlands and the UK. “We’re taking countries on every year, one by one. We’re a global company and growing on all three continents,” said Daniel Kulle, U.S. president of H&M.
To celebrate Shop Online, H&M will open a pop-up shop on August 22nd in the heart of New York City’s Meatpacking District to give customers a glimpse into the world of H&M e-commerce. The pop-up shop will feature the Paris Show Collection, a Try-On-Lab, and a virtual check-out system where customers can make purchases via ipads. H&M just opened a new store in my neighborhood, Downtown Brooklyn and now online shopping… this just upped the number of texts Amie and I will exchange about H&M clothing! AND the online shopping exclusively includes their new H&M Home collection; towels, bed linens, curtains and other home textiles and accessories in trendy colors and prints are available at a great price!
