Half Painted Pink Walls

By Vsudarsan

Pink is the color of universal love. It's soft and gentle on the eyes and it always brings out the sweet innocence of the child in all of us. When it comes to wall decor, this color is often associated with girls. Surprisingly, I found a few well-decorated living rooms and bedrooms in this shade that anyone will appreciate. Here's the twist: these are all half painted pink walls! This is what triggered me to compile this post for you today.

After you carefully observe these pictures, you'll notice that each has a shade of pink on the bottom white from there to the top of the ceiling. I think the mix of pink and white makes it easy to bring in the masculine elements into the room. Don't you agree?

I recently read about a prison study that was done to show how the colors of a cell would change the behaviors of prisoners. It was assumed that when put in pink, the captives would act gentler and softer. However, the results of the experiment showed that prisoners found more creative ways to escape! Do not underestimate the power that pink can have in a room - it's more than just a color for little girls; it's for everyone who wants to be ingenious! In color psychology, pink is a sign of hope. With that said scroll through and tell me if you would half paint your walls pink?
