This week wasn't so bad at all:
{one}6 months ago, today, I married my best friend. Although these first 6 months of marriage have not been the easiest and have been far from perfect['perfect' doesn't exist. it doesn't.] ... our love has grown and changed every day. And it's uniquely beautiful.
{two}Speaking of marriage, I was filled with so much joy that this image went "viral." I could go on and on about this topic, but I find it ridiculous that we as a nation are still having this fight. Regardless of your religious views, our country is one where all citizens are equal under the eyes of the law. Period. Blue skin, black skin, 2 moms, 2 dads... equal.
{three}I started a volunteer shift every Tuesday evening at a local organization that provides support to women who are suffering from a variety of abuse issues. The women attend classes at night, and they are welcome to bring their children -- who are provided childcare. I watched a 4 month old baby for 3 hours. My ovaries sealed up. The opposite of baby fever set in. But damn, she was cute.
{four}My banana nut protein muffin recipe was shared on the ViSalus Facebook page. It got over 1,500 likes. Crazy. Just crazy.Most of the comments were positive, which I was super relieved about. I'm thinking about making more with the shake mix, but I haven't decided yet!
