Guest Review: Dr Nick Lowe Dark Circles Correcting Cream

By Katyscarlett @_katyscarlett

Today I have a guest review for you from the lovely Anna. Anna Evans is the designer of cult jewelry brand Maggie Angus. Having worked at ELLE and Red magazines, Anna decided in 2010 to follow her life-long ambition of running her own company and set up Maggie Angus Jewellery. Although the brand is only a year and a half old, it already counts the likes of Jessie J, Fearne Cotton and Little Mix as fans and has graced the pages of Grazia, Cosmopolitan and ELLE magazines to name a few. The brand is renowned for making cute, quirky acrylic based jewelry that stands out from the crowd but doesn't break the bank. Guest Review: Dr Nick Lowe Dark Circles Correcting Cream BEFORE The one thing that has certainly been lacking from my life recently is sleep. I’ve been working extremely long hours designing the new Maggie Angus Autumn/Winter 2012 jewelry collection in time for the start of February and at the same time launching our lovely new Spring/ Summer range. It’s been a busy old time, so unfortunately the bags under my eyes are slowly resembling a sack of spuds – grey, swollen and highly unattractive. I’ve been desperate to find anything that could soothe, brighten and disguise the fact that my eyes are becoming dark gigantic puffballs. When Katy from ItsallsoScarlett.com invited me to trial DR Nick Lowe Dark Circles Correcting Cream, I jumped at the chance. Dr Nick Lowe is an internationally renowned Consultant Dermatologist with over 30 years experience in the field. He is at the cutting-edge of new treatments, technology and research into skin problems and aging so he knows what he’s talking about. I tested this cream, morning and night for three weeks, gently dabbing it to the surrounds of the eyes. The cream was light, runny, instantly soothing and absorbed into the skin fairly quickly. After a week, I noticed that the skin certainly appeared tighter and although I don’t have many lines around my eyes, it certainly felt smoother and brighter. Dr Nick Lowe’s Dark Circles Correcting Cream has special micro algae-based skin tighteners, which have a long-term firming effect so it has a preventive formula as well as reactive. The dark circles under my eyes haven’t totally disappeared as a result of this cream by any stretch of the imagination, but certainly look far less hideous than before. The light-reflecting particles in the cream were great in providing a quick pick-me up for tired eyes and when applied before adding make-up it was evident that the dark circles had reduced in tone. I liked the fact that this cream was light and made my eyes feel hydrated – a welcome aspect when you are feeling tired and a hectic lifestyle has really taken its toll. I recommend Dr Nick Lowe’s Dark Circles Correcting Cream and I am certainly going to try some of his other products soon.
