Hair & Beauty Magazine
Hi everyone!! Since I'm celebrating my blogaversary this month, I'll be sharing a few guest posts for Show Some Love Saturday to mix it up a bit. Today, I have one of my favorite polish buddies, Lakeisha from Refined and Polished.Hey dolls! I run a little corner of the nail blogosphere called Refined and Polished and it is my pleasure to provide a guest post for Marisa, one of my closest polish friends. I'm so glad to be a part of her second blogaversary celebration activities and I'm looking forward to seeing what's in store for Polish Obsession! For today's look, I wanted to include a little pink since Marisa loves it as much as I do. I started with two Illamasquas, Obsess and Phallic, that have been in my untrieds since earlier in the year when they were marked down at Sephora. Obsess is a gorgeous purple-toned pink creme with an absolutely flawless formula! Phallic is a deep navy blue filled with shimmer. The formula was a little thin, but not overly problematic. I adore using striping tape, so I created an accent nail with Obsess over Phallic. Marisa also loves gradient, so I added a little sparkle to this mani using China Glaze Make a Spectacle.
Pink and blue is such a classic combo and I feel you can't go wrong with pairing the two together. Make a Spectacle adds just the right of sparkle and ties the look together. If you'd like to see more of my looks, feel free to check me out on Refined and Polished, Instagram, or Facebook. Congrats again Marisa on your blogging milestone and I hope you like this look!Isn't this mani awesome?!!! Lakeisha never ceases to amaze me with her fun and unique creations. I'm absolutely loving this color combo and the striping tape and glitter gradient are the perfect touch!
Thanks so much for your lovely post Lakeisha! You guys need to go follow her for more beautiful manis.
