Guest Post: Hege in France

By Nordicbliss @NordicBliss

Hi there, I’m Hege from Hege in France. I’m very pleased that Marianne asked me to guest post on her lovely blog.

I’m Norwegian and advent is a big part of my Christmas traditions, so I thought I’d show you my DIY advent candle holders. It’s really easy to make. All you need is some bottles (I’ve used some black beer bottles), 4 candles and you need to print out your numbers.

Black is a very trendy colour for Christmas this year, so I’ll be decorating my home in black for the first time and I’m looking forward to it. Do you prefer a traditional Christmas to a modern one?

The star is made from vine cuttings and the root with moss I found whilst out walking in the woods. I do love the fact that it’s all not just natural, but also from where we live in the beautiful country side about 2 hours north of Bordeaux.

As today is the 3rd of December today it’s time to open advent calendar number 3. What did you get?
