Christmas is right around the corner and we all know that when buying a present for your lady, you shouldn’t get her what she needs, but what she wants. The reason for that is because, simply, it will make her happy. Here are some ideas:
Jewelry
It is simple – a girl can never have too much jewelry. The tricky part is knowing what she likes. If she is into necklaces, get her a nice necklace with a personal message engraved in the pendant. The same goes for earrings, rings and bracelets. But, you have to be careful when it comes to rings – if you don’t plan on proposing (even though the holidays are the most romantic occasions to do so – besides anniversaries of course), get her either a simple ring without a stone, or a big statement ring so she doesn’t get confused.
Put the piece of jewelry in a nice jewelry box and tuck that box in a nice bouquet. Simple, romantic and perfect.
Accessories
Remember that fabulous bag she showed you when you were casually walking through the mall? Or that incredible watch she is enchanted with? Whatever it is, if you are a good listener, try remembering all those things she told you about and play Santa.
Oh, and some last minute useful advice: next time, try remembering all that pieces of jewelry, clothing or accessories she is telling you about. Girls do that to give you a hint about what they want you to get them. If she doesn’t do this and you have no idea what will she like, there is always the best partner in crime to help you – her girlfriends.
Natural Cosmetics
Here, you are combining useful with healthy. Since our skin is the biggest organ in our body, we need to take care of it, especially during the cold time. It can be damaged physically and chemically as well, by using synthetic cosmetic products. Be careful while reading labels, because synthetic products can contain many toxic elements like 1,4-dioxane, homosalate, polyacrylamide, octinoxate, etc. Natural cosmetics, on the other hand, don’t contain these toxins and really are the best for our skin. I personally recommend dr. Hauschka products, which are the only ones I use. Make sure you check them out.
A Rare Edition Of Her Favorite Book
If your girl is a book worm, there is nothing better than a book. People who love reading see books in a totally different way. They enjoy every single part of them, from the smell all the way to that feeling of calmness while they’re reading. Try to imagine her excitement when she unwraps the gift paper and sees a rare limited edition of her favorite book. Priceless.
Personalized Gifts
If you are low on cash, you can always put in some effort and create the most perfect gift in the world. Also, if she’s not into mainstream classic gifts, you’ve hit the jackpot. There are many different options, and you can start by making a romantic dinner for two and throw roses all over your house. When it comes to the gift itself, the sky is the limit. Here are some examples:
- A printed essay or story about you two and your relationship (from your point of view)
- Take a big jar and fill it with 365 papers with quotes, things you love about her or moments and memories. This way, every morning for the next 365 days, she can pick one note and read it. And what a wonderful start of the day that is.
- Make a scrapbook which contains your memories, pics and screenshot messages
- Make a slideshow with all of your pictures, anecdotes, memories and songs
- Take a huge piece of paper and write down 100 things you love about her and your relationship
