Greetings, friends! It's your super-busy friend, Bree.
You may have been wondering where I have been and what I have been up to. In brief, I've been running a 3 ring circus or starring in my own comedy of errors.
Since I last wrote, I have been busy dating Mac Guy and the Co-Worker. However, recently, a third young man has entered the scene, the Comedian. I met the Comedian recently through my sister. I noticed immediately that he was cute, smart, and funny but didn't think too much of it. He ended our conversation by half-jokingly saying "Call me".
That is until my sister decided to play matchmaker between the two of us. A couple weekends ago, she had a party and had invited Mac Guy and myself. He drove us over there, excited about meeting my sister, her boyfriend, and the other guests. We walked in together and I see the Comedian! OMG. I almost had a mini heart attack. Well, the two guys introduce themselves and then to my horror, start talking.
My sister promptly brings me a very large Cosmo and tells me that it'll be ok. Long story short, Mac Guy went to hang out with the guests leaving me alone for most of the night. Ironically, I spent more time talking (and drinking) with the Comedian. I really don't remember much of the evening only vodka is not my friend right now.
Last week, my sister had given my phone number to the Comedian. He did ask me out to coffee last week. I had a great time and my initial attraction to him spiked. He had mentioned his birthday was coming up. His family took him out to dinner but he wanted to go out for drinks afterward. I got seriously dolled up, wearing my fabulous killer Badgley Mischka heels. I had a wonderful time. Not surprisingly, he was hoping to spend the night with me. As tempted as I was, I had to send him home. I am going to make this one wait and win me over. I think I may have a little crush on him. Scary and therefore, suspect.
I have to thank my sis for her sage advice. Both Mac Guy and the Comedian owe her big time. I will be seeing my men over the weekend. I feel bad for the Co-Worker as we haven't been able to spend too much time together. I think this is why having a pair and spare is a great idea.
Until next time, cheers!
