Gray and Wade have a unique story in that they practically lived together before ever dating. What started as roommates in a duplex barely passing each other with quick hellos, eventually months later turned into a friendship because of Wade’s sister as a mutual friend. As more time passed, and they both attended Wade’s sister’s wedding, they realized they had an undeniable chemistry on the dance floor of the wedding and they knew from that moment on that their hearts were meant to be together.
There’s nothing more flattering than another photographer hiring another photographer. To be “that” photographer chosen to capture precious memories, to earn the trust of doing what the client does for a living. I admit I was nervous to take on the job when we first got an email from Gray. Yet, Gray put her trust in us, and when I saw her tears and smiles and laughter view these engagement images below, I couldn’t help but smile and cry with her knowing we had earned that trust.
For their engagement session, Gray wanted to take their photos around her family’s horse farm right outside the Chattanooga, Tennessee area. Though the photos were taken only a few days before her wedding, with her love of horses growing up, she couldn’t imagine a better place than their big red barn and flowing fields.
