Well, we knew that since we had already had the food auction episode of Survivor, that the family episode wasn't to far behind and we didn't have to wait to long...this was the week.
I don't think in any season when family members have shown up have we ever seen a reaction like Lisa "Blair Warner" Whelchel's. OMG she was just a weepy, hysterical mess when she saw her brother, Justice. Thank god he got to sleep over (thanks to Malcolm) I could only imagine if he had to leave her right away what kind of a state that would have put her in. How hilarious was it when Michael Skupin's son climbed the tree and got hurt and bloody...like father...ahh do I really need to finish that sentence? Net, Net, Malcolm won reward and then he won immunity. Lisa's bro convinced her to vote out Malcolm but her entire plan was messed up when he won immunity. The back up plan was Abi or Carter but everyone thinks Abi has an immunity idol so Carter went home. The scenes make it look like Lisa teams up with Abi next week. Honestly, could be a good move. I would LOVE to see Lisa win this thing. Love it.Dear Jimmy, this week's Guys with Kids, was the best one yet. If you had come over for our platonic sleepover, you could have watched the show with Dylan and me while we had Ticket Kitchen hot chocolate and Pepperidge Farm Goldfish. (not paid mentions-we just love both in our house). Seeing Vanessa Huxtable wasted was really hilarious, I'm pretty sure she did that once on the Cosby Show but then Cliff and Claire lectured her on the dangers of under age drinking and grounded her for half an episode. Minka Kelly's doppelganger, Sheila, actually didn't get on my nerves at all this week, but I do love it when she and Nick insult each other back and forth. I love Nick, he's my favorite character on the show. Loved that the gang secretly called Nick and Emily "Nemily" classic. I thought Jamie Lyn Sieglers hair looked amazing this week. I'm betting she just started using Moroccan oil which smells really really good and makes your hair super shiny. (Also not a paid mention) I would be more than happy to share some Moroccan Oil when you stay over my place so you can see just what it can do for your hair too! Keep up the good works, Love your Future Best Friend...Kristy Carruba
On Suburgatory, Geoge and his large botoxed forehead were so sweet and gave Tessa time in the city with her Mom for Xmas (didn't cost him a dime, but ultra thoughtful), but once she was there, all she wanted was to be home with her Dad and her friends in Chatswin. Which sort of surprised me, but it definitely surprised Tessa. Ryan found out from the photo guy that he's adopted...which while funny, was also ridiculous. I mean sure Lisa accidentally told the photo guy, but why would he tell Ryan and what's more bizarre...who prints out pictures at a photo place anymore? A bit of an issue that Ryan hasn't been a major character EVER and for the Xmas episode they featured him but okay, I went with it. I even went with Tessa kissing him, but we all know that relationship will NEVER last. Even with all of that going on, it was Dalia who was the breakout star of Suburgatory this week with her video "Missed A Spot", a plea to her ex-nanny, Carmen to come back home where she belongs. George boxed Carmen up, wrapped her beautifully and gave her to Dallas and Dalia for Xmas...now that's a great gift...a Nanny in a box!
Here's Dalia's video.

Britney's has looked pretty good lately on X Factor, she must have hired a new stylist. This week just like The Voice, we were down to the final 6. Mario was back from his wedding over the weekend, Khloe looked terrible and Demi was really annoying. There were two themes, first was supposed to be "unplugged". But I don't think the producers knew what unplugged meant since most of the songs seemed pretty produced and included quite a few back up singers etc. The second song theme was the Pepsi Viewers choice where the audience chose the song etc.
Cece Frey started the show off with Lady Gaga's "Edge of Glory". Cece bagged the leopard spots and the sparkles and just performed with her a piano and did a good job. She's not my favorite...at all, but this was her best performance of the competition. For Katy Perry's "Part of Me" , Cece donned the spots, added the sparkles and screamed her way through the song..L.A. and I.hated it.
Emblem 3 sang Bruno Mars "Just the Way You Are" all of the girls in the audience went mental. Look, I love a decent boy band, I just do. They could win purely because little girls vote like crazy. I liked this performance but it wasn't their best. Their 2nd song "Forever Young" was okay...I didn't love it, but the boys are super cute and have the X Factor...they just do. They'll do just fine whether they win or not.
Carly Rose Sonenclar, who will win this thing, came out and sang a very slow version of Justin Bieber's "As Long As You Love Me". Really great vocals, but sort of boring. Same sort of thing with her next song, Beyonce's "If I Were a Boy". Again, she is amazing and super talented, but she's still a kid and I'd like to see her perform something less intense and a little more upbeat. Demi seemed to agree with me. Sorry Simon.
Fifth Harmony sang Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain" and did a great job even though if I never heard another Adele song again I'd be fine with that. Their second song was equally as good. Considering they were put together through this show...pretty impressive.
Diamond White sang "Mans World" for her first song. She sang great, I just don't love that song. Then she sang the new Rhianna song "Diamonds in the sky" which also isn't my fave, but she's good regardless of the song, but at this point, I don't think she'll win.
Tate Stevens sang "Living on a Prayer" and I really liked his version. He put a bit of a country spin on it. For his second song, Tate sang one of my favorites...Garth Brooks. OMG I love Garth. Tate sang a good one..."If Tomorrow Never Comes" and he sang it perfectly! His performance really was perfect. NEWS & INFORMATION:
