Jane Krakowski, co-star of NBC’s hit series, 30 Rock, looked absolutely ravishing in an orange sherbet sequined KAUFMANFRANCO gown at the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. To play up the glamour of her gorgeous gown and glittering David Webb jewels, celebrity stylist Creighton Bowman of Exclusive Artists Management created a romantic textured chignon with alluring side-swept bangs. “We were going for a young, modern twist on a classic Grace Kelly style,” says Creighton. “The look gives a 2013 edge to the retro vibe of her gown.”
Herewith, the scoop on how Creighton brought classic romance up to the minute for Jane:
« First, I washed Jane’s hair with René Furterer OKARA Light Activating Shampoo followed with René Furterer OKARA Light Activating Conditioner. « Next, I pulled Jane’s hair into a low loose ponytail. The ponytail was wrapped into a loose chignon with a few stray pieces before it was secured into place with hairpins.
