The bride shared with us: "In September 2016, we went to Sri Lanka for holiday, and I had a feeling that Fan would propose on this trip. I was correct about the proposal, but I did not know when nor how. One day, I found myself alone inside the bungalow. As I walked out to look for Fan, the staff directed me to an elegantly decorated trail leading to a cliff's edge. As I walked closer, I could see Fan standing next to a gorgeous flower arrangement, poised high above the tea plantations, and overlooking the charming Castlereagh lake. That's when I knew... this is it. Fan first gave a long speech, which I have a complete mental block on, and then got on one knee. At that moment, I sold myself to Fan forever by saying, "Yes". After we wiped the tears away and gathered ourselves. We were congratulated by the photographers and videographers that were hiding in the bushes capturing this moment... I feel so lucky to have met him, and I cannot wait to call him my husband after all these years".
"We chose Ravello because we fell in love with the water and mountain scene when we were in Cape town, South Africa last August and wanted to find somewhere similar. I found Amalfi, then found the pictures of Cimbrone on the internet. We fell in love with the terrace of Villa Cimbrone and the whole mountain/water scenery".
