Google is helping us get in the Christmas mood. Last week they updated Auto Awesome to allow you to add snow to any photo that you have uploaded. Here is an example of a photo I recently uploaded:
The snow falls down from the top of the screen and not just on the photo. All you have to do is shake your phone on the selected photo to start the snow falling. They are also randomly picking photos to Auto Awesome. I have ones that have snow, Santa and just people in coats that have randomly received the falling snow treatment.
Today, they have added a new command to the wonderful Google Now service. If you have an Android phone with Google Now, you can just tap the microphone and say, “Let’s go caroling”. You will get a screen like this:
You then just select which song you want and it will play the music along with showing you the lyrics. It’s fun things like this that make me love Google even more.
