THE SHOWS Madam Secretary Season Finale
Great season finale. Jareth and Stevie got engaged and wanted to get married right away, like over the weekend right away. I get it. Jareth's cute, brilliant and of course the accent's cool, if that's your thing. The guydid everything right. Asked Henry for his blessing, got down on one knee, got a nice ring, but even I thought it was too soon and I love weddings. Luckily, Stevie thought it was too soon too.  So the engagement's on, the wedding's off and she's going to spend the Summer with Jareth in Oxford. As Elizabeth said, this is a "champagne problem." I like that one. Elizabeth was trying to get POTUS to trade some Edward Snowden type dude to Russia for Demetri Petrov, mainly so her husband could get some sleep. In the process of trying to figure out how she could get POTUS to bless the trade, she THOUGHT she was getting fired. Turns out, the Prez wants to promote Liz to VP if she wants it. The trade did go down, Demetri's home, Snowden's in Russia and Henry needs to get Demetri's spit off his shoes pronto. Of course there was a cliffhanger. What would a finale be without one?  Will she or won't she take the VP gig? If she DOES...do they change the name of the show to Madam Vice President? One final fashion note to end the season. Sleeves mellowed out, but what was up with the layers in the opening jogging scene? As far as I can tell, Liz was jogging with a turtleneck, a t-shirt, a sweatshirt, another sweatshirt with the sides split and something tied around her waste that made zero sense. She didn't wear running sneakers but she did have on huge wooly mittens. Just when we thought they had it all together, they throw this fashion curveball at us.

The Good Wife Series Finale
Hmmm, what do I think about the way The Good Wife ended? Sure I wished there was some tricky thing where we started the episode back in the courthouse where Will was shot but still alive, but of course that's all sort have been done before. Unlike Jon Snow, Will's still dead, but he did come back to us in the finale. Gotta say, I liked it. I wished there was less of the nutty trial and more Alicia & Will but they needed the trial to go crazy in order for the entire Diane/Kurt/Alicia thing to play out the way that it did. Loved just seeing Will and Alicia together again. I really wished Alicia didn't stand by Peter at the end and bring the entire series full circle. It was even a bigger deal when Grace wanted to give up everything for her Peter too. Give up Berkley for her Dad? I'm just shocked the kid got into college considering she barely attended high school. So net/net is that Alicia ended up alone. No Peter, no Jason, No Diane, No Cary...alone. I think this is probably the best way they could have ended it, but I guess I can see fans hating this ending. What did you think? Thumbs Up? Thumbs Down?

Game of Thrones
Okay so Jon Snow's been naked for what felt like weeks and the second he woke up, they covered him...he's COLD! Pretty funny actually. Nobody likes a naked Jon Snow more than me, but leaving him freezing and uncovered for weeks made no sense at all. I'd beenscreaming "cover him up" for 3 episodes now. Anyway, good thing he didn't look in a mirror and see his horrible haircut. That would have really pissed him off. Maybe more than his pals killing him and leaving him naked on a cold stone for weeks. Cersei's hair's coming in nicely, that should give him hope
Loved the comment:
"They think you're a god"
"I'm not a god"
"I know, I saw your pecker, what kind of god would have a pecker that small?"
After Jon Snow got dressed, he hung his ex-pals, took OFF the cape and quit the Nights Watch. Done...Snow OUT!  Now go get your brothers and sisters and kick some ass!!! After all that it was just a bunch of check in's with everyone else.
  • Bran and the tree dude were watching old Ned Stark duels. (Daddy changed the story a bit from the truth, but that's okay, he still rocked when he was alive.)
  • Arya got her eyeballs back
  • Sam, Gilly and Little Sam were on a boat heading to the Citadell. Sam apparently doesn't do well with boats and forgot to pick up some dramamine.
  • Dani's desperately in need of a rescue and a shower. I thought now that Tyrion freed the dragons they'd go rescue their Mom just in time to give her some Mother's Day cards and flowers, but so far...no dragons
  • Tyrion's boredand trying to stall for time. He tried offering up some drinking games and good conversation but no takers.
  • King Tommen wasn't making any headway with the priest. Not sure why he couldn't just have his guys kill the dude so that his Mom can go check out his dead sisters cemetary plot.
  • Ricon Stark got back to Winterfell only to now have to deal with the super evil Ramsey Bolton.
-For any Game of Thrones fans who DIDN'T see SNL this week. Great spoof on Jon Snow's resurrection here. Check it out:

-CBS renwed Criminal Minds for a 12th Season
Monday's Trivia Question: What do Alicia Florick from The Good Wife, Tami Taylor from Friday Night Lights and Jackie Peyton from Nurse Jackie all have in common?
