Good Will: Can You Feel It?

Yesterday I was out and about, appointments, a bit of shopping, the post office etc. and all of it was a joy. For some reason I was filled with delight, anticipation and deep happiness.

It felt good. I was spreading Good Will.

How did I get into this state? It seemed I simply focused on good things.

Is it really that easy? – I discovered yesterday that it was and here are a few steps to get you started.

  • Wake up and think: Yea – it’s a new day!
  • Look in the mirror and smile – regardless what you look like
  • Pick something up or put something away – that little act is clearing your space and mind
  • Say something nice to people you live with – I love you! is a good sentence.
  • Note all the parts of your body that work well – I bet more parts are good than bad – be grateful for what is good and working
  • Say thank you – to God, to others, to yourself – gratitude is a vibrant and positive energy

This will set your day and with this warm and wonderful feeling everything will be colored and bright – which is another way to say joy.

Remember – you create your day by the way you think – start by thinking good thoughts the minute you wake up.
