You guys! I {Heart} You.
Your comments on yesterday’s burrito post were so moving, touching, inspirational, brave, amazing, wonderful, brilliant. I’m still basking in the comment glow.
Fitness
Would you believe me if I told you I went to the gym again yesterday?? Yep, that’s 3 whole days in a row. Which really isn’t that big of an accomplishment but with everything that’s going on it’s kinda a big deal.
I did 45 minutes on the elliptical before basketball open gym.
Maybe next week I’ll add my M-Wods to the end of my elliptical session, but for this week I’m keeping it easy.
Dinner (last night)
I did something brilliant and super duper easy. Are you ready for this?!?!
My Dad smoked some tritip yesterday and we had just a little over one serving left in the fridge. I chopped it up into little cubes and added it to some Progresso minestrone soup. I added a little garlic, pepper, and salt to the soup and with the rub on the meat and the infused smokey flavor this soup was out of this world.
I think it would be good with anything, maybe a cut up sausage, some left over turkey or chicken breast. Such an easy way to take plain old can soup up a notch.
Breakfast
I tried my first Greek Style So Delicious Cultured Almond Milk.
I was a little hesitant because I’m a yogurt purist. With my milk intolerance I’ve had many months of yogurt withdrawals and many days of intense yogurt-psycho therapy to deal with separation anxiety… but this stuff was surprisingly good.
I added a few little handfuls of Coco Pebbles.
Just do it!
HAHA! SOOOOOOOOOOO TASTY!!!
I’m already waiting until I can have another cup. Gah… would it be wrong to eat yogurt with Coco Pebbles for breakfast and lunch???
My outfit today. Nothing I’m wearing was over $50. And if I left out the boots, Nothing I’m wearing is over $20. That’s first class bargain shoppin’.
YAY for 1 more day of Indian Summer, then the tank tops get forgotten about until next June.
Tell me about you!!! I want to know…
Where do you do your bargain shoppin’?
I love Marshalls/TJ Maxx, H & M, the sale rack in the Gap, Target, and Delias (did you know Delias stuff goes on hecka sale???)
Have you carved any pumpkins yet?
No. but I’m hoping to do a few on Halloween in the afternoon before the trick-or-treaters come by.
What is your favorite fall flavor?
I love pumpkin but apples are really good too.
