The popular #Aesop's Fable: The Goose that Laid the #Golden Egg reminds me of an equally popular #African Tale about The Gourds of Gold. Both tales are centered on the lure of gold that breeds a consuming greed. And every time I find myself getting greedy with the want of something I remember the stories, I laugh at myself and my common sense returns. Now, I'm a very curious individual and I often question even things that have been previously established. I've had to learn that some times for the sake of self-preservation I need to allow common sense to rule, just like I'm letting gold rule in this simple look of all black with a hint of red.
