But some of us do tend to overdo a few things which are a strict no and are most of the common mistakes of the workout. Many of us don’t even know that we are making these simple workout mistakes which may result in some injury or sprain.

  • A pre gym snack is a very wrong decision as they contain a lot of fiber which is difficult to digest. If you need some energy to work out in the gym, a banana may be helpful and you can push yourself to the limits with energy. The banana is easy to digest and be consumed easily.
  • This mistake is normally done by all women. They use the neck muscles instead of using the abs muscles when they practice crunches. This position is certainly a big wastage of time and can sprain the neck big time. The time wasted if focused on the right part of the body can be helpful and also have results. The best idea to avoid using your neck is to stick your tongue to your upper part of the mouth to avoid the strain on the neck and your abs do the workout not the neck.
  • Practicing stretching before your Cardio session is boring thing as it does not do any help to the body; instead spending some time on the elliptical with a lower level is great. Then start with your cardio and increase the level until you get the desired speed. This way of warm up is certainly the best way of exercising than stretching.
  • Weight trainings should be thrice a week or every alternate day. Some women are under the myth that weight trainings will bulk up the arms and hands. Women need to understand that they don’t have the hormone to bulk up like men. The weights used should be changed and one can increase the intensity of weights. Beginners can start with the 10 to 15 pounders.
  • After a tiring sweat session, some people tend to overeat things as they are hungry. There is nothing wrong in replenishing yourself after a workout, but it is advised that one should eat proteins and carbs immediately, within an hour after the workout. Overindulging will be a waste of the workout you did and end up consuming more calories than you burn them. Check the calories in the food you are eating. Packaged food will have a number of calories written on them.
  • Some of the workout mistakes that we do don’t even realize that we are practicing it regularly. While you are working out, do not hold the treadmill trails, sitting very high or very low on the cycle or bike will never give you the desired result, don’t push or pull your arms ad biceps when you are working out on the elliptical trainer.

Poor forms of exercise and wrong body postures can lead up to injuries and muscle sprains. People spent so much money on the gym memberships, hiring personal trainers, spending money on protein supplements is very common bur doing it the right way is very important.

Above tips will surely help you avoid  mistakes that can harm you.  So get ready for doing workouts in a correct way and achieve desired  results.
