Happy Thursday Lovelies. It's time for the latest GlowwBox tryouts with the Dark and Mysterious Beauty box edition. With a load of goodies which included the Eye of Horus Goddess Scarab Sapphire Pencil in Dark Blue which glides on like a dream, the Lucy Annabella Date Night Organic Bath Milk which smells divine, the Benecos Quartro Eyeshadow which has a beautiful and versatile palette and the Saturated Colour Multitasker Seductive Damson Pencil which works a dream with my brown lippie, I was spoilt for choice on what to try first.
After testing out each product, my top favorite was the Mixed Chicks Dual Quick Stick Foundation & Bronzer because if you know what my search for good foundation has been like, you'll understand my struggle. Firstly, I love that the Mixed Chicks Dual Quick Stick Foundation and bronzer come in an easy-to-use tube which means its convenient, easy to carry around and also apply without mess.
My pros about the foundation is that it's weightless and glides on like oil with no strong scents. For wear, it lasted all day without making me oily and still felt light on removal. It easily blends with other products and the beautiful bronzer gives as much glow as you want to go for.
I'd definitely recommend this product although my only con, like with any other foundation, is the shade match. I received the darkest shade which was a little too dark for my complexion so gave off a gray undertone but as I mentioned, its easily blendable, so I color corrected it by added some of my concealer to lighten it a little. It's a great and worthwhile product so I'll definitely give the next shade down a go to find my perfect match. Enjoy! TL. Xx
