Happy Monday Lovelies. If there's anything I need most in my life right now its relaxation, so the latest GlowwBox was most welcome. Filled with products to pamper and rejuvenate, its no wonder the March edition beauty box has already sold out.That being said, it's still worth the review because each product is still available in the Glowwbox shop, ready to induce feelings of relaxation. My favorite of the March beauty box has to be the Mizani Satin pillowcase. Why I haven't invested in one before now is a mystery to me. It feels so soft and delicate on the skin that I couldn't actually believe a pillow could make so much difference. I didn't get the itch or roughness that I sometimes get from my cotton pillowcases and the gold color added some extra luxury to my boudoir. The only peeve I have with the Mizani pillowcase is that there is no end closure so the pillow just sticks out at the end and with it being so soft, I have to keep pushing the pillow back in but other than that, it works a treat.
The Lucy Annabella Argan & Frankincense Organic Treatment Oil is another favorite of mine. It has a beautiful rich consistency to it and makes my skin feel moisturized without being greasy or leaving residue when I get dressed. It hasn't got a strong smell which I prefer when it comes to skin care products and it keeps my skin smooth throughout the day.
Sadly after years of having long hair and knowing the struggle of trying to keep it out of my face when washing or applying make up, I've now gone for a really low hair cut and can't yet reap the benefits of The Vintage Cosmetic Company Makeup Headband. Although it will make a cute gift as it is so useful and practical.
The Bramley Bubble Bath gives a strong scented, rich lathered, relaxing bath which I guess is the point. I did come out a bit wrinkly because I got a bit carried away with the relation part but I guess that means it worked.
For a long time I've heard of Keratin treatments and because of a lot of the mixed reviews, I hadn't yet tried it so I'm glad Glowwbox presented the opportunity.
After shampooing, I applied an ample amount and left it under a shower cap for almost an hour. I guess I was expected the results of a conditioner before remembering it was a treatment not conditioner which is fair I guess. Although the Activilong Paris Stop Break Pure Keratin System has a watery consistency, it has a beautifully alluring scent to it which makes it lovely to use. In terms of results, its a little early to tell thr difference, especially since thankfully I don't have damaged hair.
The Mavala Concentrated Foot Bath is great for the feet although I feel it works best after a good scrub. Its menthol qualities leaves my feel feeling fresh and when dried, still moisturized.
