Con l'avvento di Internet, dell'era digitale il mondo sembra essere diventato sempre più piccolo. Se già poteva essere utile avere una lingua di riferimento per avere scambi internazionali adesso è fondamentale.
In Italia non sempre l'inglese è masticato. Sono un po' più avvantaggiate le ultime generazioni che utilizzando quotidianamente la rete sono più a contatto con l'inglese, volenti o nolenti.
Chiamatela evoluzione delle specie o altro, ma diventa necessario per sopravvivere in questo mondo!
Italians not always know English language . The new generations are now a bit more advantaged using the network every day . Maybe this is the evolution of the species , but it becomes necessary to know English just to survive in this world, willy-nilly!Bisogna ammettere che ,anche se la situazione sta decisamente cambiando, gli italiani qualche problema con la lingua inglese l'hanno sempre avuto.
Sarà perché la nostra bella Italia ha una forte identità regionale con i dialetti, testimonianza della tradizione o perchè non è mai stata, fino ad ora fra le materie principali, ma sta di fatto che molti si sono ritrovati a doverlo studiare vista l'internazionalizzazione del mondo.
We must admit that , although the situation is definitely changing , Italians have some problems with the English language . This could be because our beautiful Italy has a strong regional identity with dialects - testimony of our tradition -or because it has never been until now among the main subjects studied at school . Anyway many Italians are now studying English to live in this international world.Fortunatamente l'esistenza di varie risorse come internet , televisione , film e siti aiutano.
Come ogni cosa anche l'inglese va allenato, non c'è niente da fare!
There are several resources - such as internet , the television , the movies and websites - that help us in learning . Each language should be practised.
Bisogna anche dare un occhio alla grammatica ( uno dei punti deboli di molti tra cui il mio!).
Alcuni libri ( cari vecchi tradizionali libri) sono utili anche per farsi una rinfrescata di grammatica o per impararla: ovviamente optare per le versioni con esercizi e chiavi di soluzione può essere più immediato. ( Uno dei libri che trovate in librerie facilmente è English grammar in use, e le scelte sono tantissime in questo settore)
It is necessary also to study the grammar ( one of my weak points!)Some books - dear traditional books!- are usefull in order to sum up or to learn the grammar. One of the best way are the books with the answers - for example english grammar in use or something similar. You can find many of these book in the library or on web)
In ogni caso cari amici anglofoni anche se incontraste un italiano che non sa l'inglese ( fatto sempre più raro) non vi preoccupate: vi farà capire con i gesti cosa vuole dirvi : la seconda lingua degli italiani!
Anyway dear English-speaking friends even if you met an Italian who does not know English ( it is not so often today) do not worry : he will make you understand with gestures, the second language of the Italians !
