Cheshire Cat Pyjamas, Yankee Candle Sugared Apple, Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Perfume, Pink Pyramid Stud Zip Purse, Models Own Wonderland Collection, Pretty Little Liars Season 1 DVD, Benefit High Flyin' Glosses, Soap & Glory Crazy Sexy Kohl
So it's competition time again and this one was exciting since it's all about gifts and got me right into the Christmas mood. Yes I've already got a good idea of what I'll be buying but now I just need to get the finger out and actually start shopping. Until then, I thought I'd enter the Gifts Vouchers Blogger Challenge and decided to concentrate on Christmas gifts for her, each under £35 so they won't be breaking the bank (unless you buy them all of course..). They are a mixture of classic Christmas present ideas and some goodies that I have had my eye on recently and I might have gotten a bit carried away while I was at it. I'll tell you a bit more about each gift idea and why I picked it!
These super cute Cheshire Cat pajamas are from none other than George at Asda and at £13 you really can't go wrong. I know most people are loving onesies right now but I'm personally one of those people that overheats so quickly in anything too thick and fleecy so comfy pajamas were perfect for me. And let's be honest.. there's always the need for a new pair of pajamas at Christmas time!
I'm quite new to the world of candles and after being surrounded by Yankee Candles at work I've grown to adore them, especially the yummy Christmas smells. I'm definitely more of a lover of more sweet scents as opposed to spices so Sugared Apple is right up my street and with the large jar coming in at £19.99 it is a great gift idea for any candle lovers in your life.
Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck perfume was a no brainer for me as I'll admit she has been on repeat on my iPhone since Red was released, and with the perfume being a mix of fruity and floral notes it's perfect for a very fun daytime scent! I know the look of a bottle shouldn't have such an influence but it is so pretty with the pretty purple holographic finish and cute charm bracelet and is a great gift at just under £25 for 50ml.
The studded purse from New Look ticked all of the boxes for me as it is it pink, studded and has plenty of room for cards, notes and change, and I'm sure it would make a lovely gift for any ladies out there looking for a new and stylish purse. What's even better is that it comes in at just under £9 and I'm sure it would go with just about anything as it is such a neutral color.
The Models Own Wonderland Collection is one that I have blogged about numerous times already as I have been in love with the 3 polishes I have from the collection, and with the whole set including a top/base coat and coming in a lovely box it's a great gift for any nail polish lovers out there. Each polish is perfect for getting in the Christmas mood as they would make any color on your nails look so festive and I've really enjoyed experimenting with the different glitter topcoats over the past couple of weeks.
As a big fan of Pretty Little Liars I had to include the Season 1 boxset which is already on my own Christmas list, and as it is exclusively available on Amazon for £29.99 it would be perfect for any other PLL fans or boxset hoarders like myself. With the fab casting, great storylines and big cliffhangers, I'm sure you would all be on the edge of your seat trying to figure out who A is too!
Benefit is a brand that I've grown to love over the past year as I couldn't be without their gorgeous boxed powders, and now that they have brought out the High Flyin' Glosses set you have the chance to try out 6 of their new lipglosses based on the boxed powder shades. These mini tubes are so cute and the perfect size for keeping in your handbag, and at £19.50 it's great value for 6 shades as one full size tube would cost you £13.50.
I had to include a gift set from Soap & Glory as it just wouldn't be Christmas without a big pink bag full of goodies, although I've decided to go for something a little different in the form of their Crazy Sexy Kohl set. This tin contains a selection of waterproof kohl eyeliner pencils and eyeshadows, although I can't actually tell how many you get as neither the Soap & Glory or Boots website gives that information which is a bit annoying. Going by the tin it looks as though you get 3 shadows and 5 different shades of pencil (with some limited shades too) which I think is a great deal as it comes in at £18. A must have for any liner lovers out there, myself included!
So there you go, that's a few of my picks for Christmas gifts for her this year. If you're interested in taking part in the Gifts Vouchers Bloggers Competition then you still have time as the closing date has been extended until this Sunday, and with gift vouchers from Topshop, ASOS, Amazon and BooHoo up for grabs it's always worth a shot! You can find more info about the competition here. I'd love to know what you think about my gift ideas and what you would pick for girly gifts this Christmas.
