With a lovely nod to the shapes of the 1950s, Giambattista Valli showed his newest haute couture collection in Paris today. The collection had a beautiful spectrum of color. It started with painterly noirs and slowly transitioned to sweet pinks, with a fantastic pop of yellow thrown in for fun. I also loved the hints of train flashed throughout the collection, from full on dresses to belted coats. The combination shift dress and cape was simply divine.
