GHD StyleFinal Shine Spray*"Gives instant all over shine, whatever your hair type. This lightweight spray also helps smooth flyaway hair and control static"I've worked with countless professional haircare brands over the years I've worked in the hairdressing industry, every company and its aunty has brought out a shine spray in an attempt to help recreate that glossy blow dry look that we only seem to get at the salon, and out of all the shine sprays I've tried on myself and clients, I haven't liked any of them. Most of them have been really oily, and one spray too far and you end up looking like Slick Rick. Others tend to be really heavy as well, so you've got the big body blow dry you was after, a few sprays of "insert brands new here" shine spray and all that body has now gone flat. Not the look you was after.Everyone has heard on the iconic GHD name, famously known for their amazing straighteners, that no matter how many people try to beat with dupes, they never quiet live up to GHD standards, so when I received this product, I was so excited to see if the products were as good as their styling tools.I started using this when my hair was still blonde (FYI its now cooper) blonde hair always looks less shiny then darker hair, normally because is it porous and the cuticles don't lay flat meaning its hard for the light to reflect off of it. I started off by spraying it into the air and they walking under it, and instantly I could see a slight shine. Once my nervousness of using the product wore off, and I was sure I wasn't going out anywhere, so if any 'Slick Rick' encounters happened it didn't really matter. I then followed the instructions on the can and held it 30cm away from my hair and sprayed a light mist of product like a halo over my head, make sure you don't just spray it in one place! I gave it a minute, gave my head a little shake and it honestly looked like I had just had my hair blow dried professionally due to how shiny it was. Over the next couple of days I started to play around with different ways to apply to product and found that my favorite way is to spray it onto my hand, rub my hands together then work it through the mid lengths and ends of my hair. It works especially well this way just after you've straightened or curled your hair.I've found over the years, the best way to work out how greasy a product will be is to work it into your hands only, if it completely disappears with no residue, its a winning formula, and this product does this. The only thing I think people might not like about this product, is that it is slightly scented. I personally like the smell, it kind of reminds me of talcum powder - in a good way!I also really like the packaging, though is does kind of remind me of a men's body spray due to the size of the bottle and the spray nozzle and the fact its black, but that wouldn't really put me off buying it.  Its nice and sleek, with a nice color scheme of black, blue and gold. Totally breaking ~fashion rules~ with blue and black together!Overall, I would definitely recommend this product whether your hair is damaged and dull and needs a peak up or whether its perfectly healthy and you want something to gives you locks to rival Kim K's.It retails for £9.95 and I've just found out after a quick Google, GHD offer free delivery - bonus! How you tried any GHD styling products? Would you try the final shine spray? I'd love to know!"believe in yourself"
