Geek Swag: Superhero Inspired Kicks

Posted on the 14 December 2013 by Geekasms @geekasms

If the first thing you think about when hearing about superhero edition shoes are 8 year-olds stomping around on the playground, you need to check these stylish sneakers inspired by some of our favorite heroes.

These were custom made by Mache Customs and presented to LeBron himself. While the shoes were never worn during a game, it’s not like King James ever needed the extra power or flying abilities. I think the regular LeBron 11s (found here) will do for now.

Nike decided to go subtle with these sneakers—not using the logo or overdoing the Batman influence was the right choice. It adds a little bit more mystery to the shoes. They ask–Are those really Batman shoes? Is Bruce Wayne the Batman? Will Ben Afleck have difficulty learning to drive the Batmobile?
