The Answer:
Episode 14 will introduce two recurring characters: an African-American agent who specializes in combat/weapons, and a high-level S.H.I.E.L.D. agent/munitions expert who has past ties to both Coulson and Ward.
I am wondering if the first agent mentioned here is Akela Amadour (Pascale Armand). The actress Pascale played a formidable enemy in the episode “Eye Spy.” I would like to see her and Mike Peterson (J. August Richards) as regulars on the show. This show is becoming the super-powered version of CSI and NCIS.
