Gateway Geomatics is an innovative high-tech company which focuses solely on helping organizations publish their spatial information to interactive maps on the Internet. Gateway relies on Open Source (free) software to deliver interactive Internet maps to its clients. Past clients include private organizations such as Sobeys Inc., and public sector organizations such as the Department of Fisheries and Oceans. In 2009, Gateway Geomatics was named as one of the “top 15 innovative new technology companies in Nova Scotia” (Innovacorp I-3 competition).
