Galaxy Grand Duos – A Perfect Preview

Posted on the 27 January 2013 by Yogeshvashist98 @YogeshVashist98

The latest device, the Korean Company comes up with is this Galaxy Grand Duos GT-I9082.  It is a 5 inch cheap phone , and is mad to fit in those empty sacks , made by Note 2.0.  So lets have a look at the specifications.

Specifications:

It has a 5inch , TFT screen with LCD display and with a WGA resolution,  the Grand has a 1.2 GHz processor working under it’s hood. It also has 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage in it.

Have a look at the video review of the Galaxy Grand Duos.

The main objective of the Korean officials was to keep this phone’s price as low as possible without possibly compromising with quality. It has a popping back and it has a 2100mAh battery , which is the dwarfed version of the Galaxy Note II’s 3100mAh battery , but this on this device it is pretty good. It also a 8MP camera at the back , a secondary 2MP camera for video calling in front. It measures around 143.5 x 76.9 x 9.6 mm and weighs around 162 grams.

It comes with Jelly Bean 4.1.2 pre-installed in it , and has some of the most amazing features , Samsung ever developed in the high end offerings as Direct call , S Voice & Pop up play. Also with these features jammed on to the phone , the phone still works with a pretty decent speed, no lags or delays in the processes even while playing the videos in the POP UP play mode.

Issues:

Everything cannot seem perfect , i.e., every phone has it’s drawbacks, so obviously this one also does. Everything looks cool , but Grands issues is it’s screen, TFT display. While colors look quite nice when you look at it directly, but on the other hand contrast starts to decrease as soon as you  you tilt the display at some angle. But it is prety okay , not a very big disadvantage or issue out of it , as you know it is made to serve as cheaper version of the Galaxy Note II.
