Tissot repairand restoration is a necessary step in making sure your watch runs properly throughout its entire life.  Whether you have a quartz or mechanical movement, both require maintenance from time to time.

Tissot repair for a quartz watch could be as simple as changing a battery or as complicated as replacing the entire movement.  When your quartz watch stops running chances are it ran out of battery.  However, sometimes the entire movement needs replacing.  Depending on your lifestyle

you may be exposing your watch to extreme conditions; like temperature or magnetic fields.  Only a certified watchmaker for the 21st century is qualified to make Tissot watch repairs.  When changing a battery, it is best to make sure the watchmaker replaces the gaskets and tests for waterproof along with the new battery.

Automatic movements may require a more complicated Tissot repair.  Since an automatic movement includes gears and parts that move with each other they need to stay lubricated.  Every few years you should take your watch for a basic cleaning to clean the movement and lubricate the parts.  If the gears and parts in the movement start to grind and rub against each other they could chip and break.  If this happens you may notice your watch gaining or losing time from day to day.  A repair might consist of replacing a few parts or replacing the whole movement.  A big job like this is costly and easily avoided by cleaning the movement every few years.

Tissot watch repair is important for any Tissot owner.  Protect your investment by taking good care of your watch.
