It’s Friday, my semester’s done, and I’m looking to get my hands on anything – regardless of genre – that I can use to celebrate. These recently released tracks have got me going:

And then… Dido? I haven’t thought of her since her turn on “Stan.” But it’s a good track, and features the amazing, wonderful Kendrick Lamar, whose “Swimming Pools” is one of the tracks of the year.

This Bastille track (a remix of the xx and TLC) takes it down a notch. The emo take on “No Scrubs” is particularly inventive:
