From the recently released Freddie Gibbs and Madlib collaborative EP, Deeper, here is “Harold’s” a straightforward chicago style beat with Gibbs and Madlib working their magic over it.  The EP is meant to hype up their upcoming full length, Piñata, which will be out February 4th of next year.  Like some of his best tracks, Gibbs works with the beat, altering his own style slightly to make it fit better.

Also check out an awesome song by a band with a not-so-awesome name, “You’re The One For Me” by Great Good Fine OK.  An infectious 80s leaning electropop/R&B jam.

In the vein of Janelle Monae, here is “Canna Butter Kisses” by Elli Ingram, a mid-tempo R&B jam complete with horns and some Timbaland style production by Felix Joseph.
