Pairing with prolific producer Madlib, Freddie Gibbs trades a verse with jazz drummer and surprisingly competent MC, Karriem Riggins, on this relentless and schizophrenic track with hardly a hook. At just two minutes the oppressive and persistent drumming provides the basis over which the two MC’s each have a verse. Skillfully articulated with just a touch of profundity Karriem Riggins and Freddie Gibbs both deliver a somewhat uncharacteristic flow over the chopped up punk jazz samples Madlib is working with. It sounds like an urban balancing act in hyperspeed.
