For those of you have been frustrated by Janelle Monae’s delay in releasing the sequel to The ArchAndroid, the good news from Frank Ocean’s corner is that he’s 10 or 11 songs into his next album. “Eyes Like Sky” is the latest leak from that effort. It doesn’t have the same sense of immersive narrative that Channel Orange did, but the album isn’t finished yet. My bet is it will be every bit as innovative and captivating as the previous one.
