They enjoyed the meal in these mugs! Each holds 20 ounces of soup, which I think is a good size. Perfect for someone who wants to slash calories by eating healthy soups instead of large meals. These mugs are lead-free and made of stoneware. It is totally vintage looking because of the intricate patterns and the ivory color. This is my first soup mug with a nice big handle - it is keeping my hands from getting burned. Overall, I'm quite impressed with products made by Francois et Mimi and happy to endorse them.
