Four killed in Jhang road accident
At least four person were killed and 12 others sustained injuries when a passenger van turned turtle after a head-on collision with a tractor trolley at Jhang-Faisalabad bypass.
The incident occurred in wee hours of Monday when a speedy tractor trolly, coming from the opposite direction, dashed against the Zhob-bound van.
In result of the crash, four people, identified as Safar Ali, Khudadad, Sheru Khan and Mehro, were killed on spot while 12 sustained injuries.
The local administration reached the spot and shifted the injured to the District Headquarter Hospital, where three persons are said to be in critical condition.
Over-speeding, Careless driving, over-loading, and below-par roads are the main culprits of the accidents in the country, which annually claim thousands of lives.
