At least four people were killed and 37 others injured in Quetta on Tuesday when four blasts rocked different parts of metropolis within a short span of time.
According to the initial reports, the first blast took place in Gwalmandi area, injuring at least five people. The second explosion ripped through Jinnah Town, while the third one struck Gordat Singh area
In the fourth and deadliest blast, a suicide bomber blew his mini-truck at a check point on Alamdar Road near Hazara Town area, killing four people including one security personnel and injuring 33 others.
Police said that the attacker attempted to drive his explosive-laden into the Hazara Town but upon failure, blew himself up. Several shops have also been reportedly damaged in the blast.
The rescue teams rushed the dead and injured to the nearby hospital, where five people are said to be in critical condition.
