Tehreek-e-Minhaj ul Quran chief Tahir-ul-Qadri has termed the formation of present Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) “unconstitutional”, saying it was not formed under the Article 213 of constitution.
He reiterated that ECP is not impartial and it should’ve been reconstituted.
Tahir-ul-Qadri said he was elected as the member of national assembly in 2002 and resigned in 2004, adding sitting there he witnessed that nothing is happening for the benefaction of the nation and that’s why he commenced the movement for awakening the nation.
