Fleetmatics Now Available in Two New Markets

Posted 15 January 2014 6:00 PM by Regan Billie

Today, we are excited to announce that we will continue to deliver on our promise of global expansion plans with entry into Australia and the Netherlands. We are offering our solution to the Dutch and Australian markets and can't wait to provide these local fleet-based businesses with a new choice in fleet management technology. Fleetmatics has nearly ten years of proven experience in providing workforce productivity solutions for over 20,000 customers with commercial fleets. We look forward to empowering more small business owners around the globe to significantly increase mobile workforce and fleet productivity, safety and security, while decreasing costs related to fuel consumption, unauthorized used and payroll discrepancies. Fleetmatics is hoping that the news of our launch will be of particular interest to the Australian market, since local economists have noted that the start-of-year price increase is the biggest the nation has seen since 2004. Fuel saving solutions for commercial businesses will be ever more critical in this region during 2014. Rob Kroos, Managing Director of AM Koeriers, has been able to see a reduction in fuel spend since using Fleetmatics. "With the insight gained from tracking our vehicles, we were able to lower costs on fuel, maintenance and labor almost instantly," he explains. "Fleetmatics empowers us to work smarter by better leveraging our resources." In addition to increased fleet productivity and safety, a fleet management solution such as Fleetmatics can help a business:

  • Reduce labor costs
  • Minimize operating expenses
  • Enhance customer service
  • Lower carbon footprint
  • Reduce unauthorized vehicle use
