Amazing minimal design from Hannes Harms, for this incredibly flat speaker. It’s fabricated by acid-etching a 0.5mm thin sheet of stainless steel, with scored lines for easy folding upon delivery. Not quite sure what beyond the speaker itself is enclosed in this skinny component—it has a Play button—but the concept is clear! Harms is a new-contender industrial designer from London’s Royal College of Art.
