With Facebook and some other Social Share buttons, the description of my post was not included when I clicked the "Like Button", all that was showing was the link and sometimes an image was also included. This means that instead of just clicking the button and all the work being done, I have to copy and paste the content, this is ok if I am adding stuff from my blog, but it it's a visitor that likes my post I want there visit to be as easy and as smooth as possible, and to make sure that if they like my post it's east for them to add the link to their Facebook account.
Okay, so lets fix this problem.
Go to Dashboard > Design > Edit HTML and back up your template. Then click the Expand Widget box.
Look for this line of code then add the following code before/above:
<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'><b:if cond='data:post.snippet'><meta expr:content='data:post.snippet' name='description'/></b:if></b:if>
Then save the Template.
