Blame it on the time of the year, that you want to indulge in everything pretty, feminine and luxurious. One of my favorites and the most luxe fabric of the season is velvet, which has now become a holiday closet must-have. It's like the new black.

1) it radiates luxe- the subtle sheen, the way it drapes, this fabric has luxe written all over it.
2) it looks great in every silhouette- be it a skirt, a pair of leggings, a blazer or even a hat, this fabric fits every space and closet.
3) it is the trend of the season- velvet has had a major comeback. The best of it could be seen on the runways. There was a great velvet display by the designers this past fashion week, that surely had us all glued to our seats.
4) it works on every body type- the soft fall of this fabric makes it apt for any body type. It fits every curve and flatters any shape.
