Fitness Update: Hello Blogilates

I've made a couple of fitness posts in the past and this was while I pushed myself to carry out the 30 Day Shred, but a combination of injury, surgery and sheer laziness meant that I fell off the fitness wagon and became very inactive. This morning I've woken up with so much motivation to blast away some of the extra weight that has appeared due to this laziness. Although I saw great results while doing the 30 Day Shred, it's still too rigorous for my post-surgery body so I've had to find an alternative that is less intense when it comes to cardio. Enter Blogilates..
I'd heard quite a lot about Cassey and her Blogilates YouTube channel & finally got around to checking it out this morning, and now I think I've found my exercise alternative hooray. Blogilates is a collection of Pilates routines that focus on toning specific areas of the body and after having a go at the recent Love Handle Hysteria routine (my legs are really feeling it now), I'm all set to follow Cassey's 4 week Blogilates Beginner calendar.

I love how so much thought has been put into this 4 week calendar with different routines to complete and additional exercises to do during the day. I'd love to lose a bit of weight in time for Christmas so this 4 week plan couldn't come at a better time. I'm all set with  my exercise mat and dumbbells so Blogilates, here we come!
