Fitness Tips

I have a MAJOR confession. These past 2 weeks I have found it harder and harder to get out of bed. I want to sleep and stay in my semi warm bed. Our dog (who is tiny) LOVES taking up most of the bed, and he LOVES taking all the blankets. (typical guys, right!?!)
I have the best of intentions on waking up, stretching and getting in a small workout. The small morning workouts I've been showing the past few weeks are amazing! They can all be done before getting ready in the morning, and take hardly any time.
I usually do....
50 Jumping Jacks
20 crunches
20 mountain climbers
the hundred position. (usually 20 pumps, repeat 2 or 3 times)
10 pushups (girl style)
I have seen other workouts that add on a plank for 30 sec. Give it a try. I promise within a week you'll be able to do the whole workout.
Another thing I am having trouble with is working out in the morning. My dog thinks I am playing and jumps on me. If I try to shut the door to workout then he barks waking up the husband. (Lucky him he gets to sleep in until 7am)
This morning I tried slowing down my workout and focus on my breathing. I don't know about y'all but I tend to hold my breath. It's really hard to explain but my breathing changes all weird. I got tired quicker and wouldn't be able to do a whole workout like I know I can do. TIP: When exerting energy breathe out. I was pleasantly surprised with how much more I could do today.
Now if I can just convince hubs to let me buy a $2.99 app called jog.fm I think I would be able to run better. When I run right now I'm usually my old ipod (think first generation) and it has all my songs. I find myself more switching songs than actually getting in a good run. Has anyone else tried it? What did you think?
I hope these tips have helped you too. Let me know how I can help motivate you.
