FitBit for #ReadersWorkouts

For an early birthday present, I got a FitBit One last week. It seems best suited for people who walk as their primary form of exercise. I’m still counting exercise minutes so that I feel like my stretching and strength-training count for something.

The FitBit lets you set goals. I’m aiming for 7000 steps and 20 floors of stairs every day. Occasionally, that means I go up and down the stairs a few times late in the evening!

FitBit Display

The various displays of the FitBit, including the flower.

The display that I most often keep it on shows a flower that grows or shrinks depending on how active you’ve been during the day. I try to keep it between 3 and 4 leaves — that’s good motivation to make sure that I’m not sitting too long.

Do you use a FitBit or other technology for monitoring your activity?

For Readers’ Workouts, talk about your fitness activities on your blog (feel free to grab the logo) and link to your post below or join us in the comments! Be sure to visit the other participants to see how we all did.
