Yay!
Except that then in only ten short weeks following that start date, True Blood will be finished. FOREVER.
And will ten weeks really be enough time to satisfactorily wind up all the story lines? While Season 6 saw a decline in plot and sub plot numbers, there are still plenty of loose ends that will need tying up this year. Especially so since HBO recently announced two more villains for this season. And fans are eagerly asking the following questions:
- Will Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Alcide (Joe Manganiello) end up together?
- Is Willa (Amelia Rose Blaire) coping as a new vampire on her lonesome?
- Will Layfayette (Nelsan Ellis) get a new love?
- When will Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) return to cause more trouble?
- How are Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) going?
- And, most importantly for many – did Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) survive his extreme tan?
But, alas, we will just have to wait and see what the writers have in store for us. While waiting really does suck, having to find a new vampire addiction after the end of Season 7, is probably worse.
