NBC has given us our first look at Matt Ryan as John Constantine in their upcoming series based on the DC/Vertigo character.
I’ll admit, I was scratching my head when they first announced this, but by the looks of this, they at least have him nailed down. Looks like you pulled him right off the page.
This new series is supposed to follow the comic more than the movie starring Keanu Reeves did. In a statement from executive producer David S. Goyer, he said: “I’ve been a fan of John Constantine since he was first introduced in 1985. This Constantine, envisioned by Neil Marshall and embodied by Matt Ryan, looks like he sprang directly from the comics’ covers. Fans old and new are going to be in for a treat.”
