The first images have just gone online from the ‘Bullhead’ director Michaël R. Roskam’s upcoming crime drama The Drop. Formerly titled as ‘Animal Rescue,’ the movie features Tom Hardy, James Gandolfini, Noomi Rapace and Matthias Schoenaerts. Written by Mystic River, Shutter Island and Gone Baby Gone author Dennis Lehane, The Drop marks late Gandolfini’s last big screen performance.
The movie based on a crime-drama centered on a lost pit bull, a wannabe scam artist, and a killing.
The Drop will hit the theaters on September 19th.
