Check out this first look at what Godzilla could potentially look like in the Gareth Edwards directed reboot. The image comes from a licensing expo in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and a promotional poster for the film. It’s hard to know for sure if this is the final design for the classic monster or just a placeholder, I’m leaning towards placeholder, but time will tell.
An epic rebirth to Toho’s iconic Godzilla, this spectacular adventure, from Warner Bros. Pictures and Legendary Pictures, pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
Directed by Gareth Edwards from a story by David S. Goyer, Godzilla stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe and Bryan Cranston with David Strathairn. And the film opens on May 16, 2014!
