Okay, I will admit it. I watched Jem and the Holograms back in the mid-80′s. And you know what? That’s okay. It had catchy songs and was the perfect cartoon for the music of that period. How will that translate to live action almost 30 years later? We will soon find out as Aubrey Peeples from Nashville has been cast as Jem for the upcoming movie. Also cast are Stefanie Scott as Jem’s sister Kimber, Aurora Perrineau as Shana and Hayley Kiyoko as Aja. Now excuse me as I fight the losing battle to get the Jem theme song from my head.
